Also if you make the hat and you have a sensitive baby use soft yarn I used red heart and she doesn't like the feel of it :( so I'm remaking the hat in a different yarn that she will be able to tolerate better.its a blog about all the things i hold dear and all the things i have interest in. easy pipe cleaner spider webs
Made these cute spider webs and spiders on a whim with the hubby and kidos.
- You take 3 to 4 pipe cleaners and make the "arms" of the web and starting at the center you wrap the yarn around each arm alternating going under and over each arm.
- Then you tie off and make the spider. Using 2 pipe cleaners make 4 big legs by cutting them in half.
- Then tie them together by wraping another pipe cleaner around the center of the 4 legs.
- You should now have 8 little legs and the body. attach and hang up :)
coffee covered strawberries afghan
This is a Granny Square afghan that I made my four year old. Its a basic granny square made with Red Heart Super Saver yarn in coffee and petal pink. Perfect size for her toddler bed. Now im working on a "strawberry coffee fields" ripple afghan for her baby sister to match hers :) pictures of that soon.

cute little top hat
So I found this cute little hat on a friends blog a few days back and just had to make it. Unfortunately the pattern was untested so I decided I couldn't pass it up and started working on it. That pattern called for and "I" sized hook and #4 worsted weight yarn. After a whole night of working on it and working out the bugs I decided to turn in for the night by that time it was 11:30! Well I just finished it this morning and I had to unravel it like 3 more times but here it is. And my beautiful big girl Zoie is modeling it for me though it's to big for her. This pattern can be made smaller by using a smaller hook or deleting a row or two on the top. That's why I love it! I can now make a matching hat for her and my 9 month old baby girl, we will be a couple of Madd Hatters lol :) yes I'm a dork but ya gotta love it. After the blog fixes the pattern I'll post a link or you can contact me and I'll email it to you.
