so i have an obsession...

i love pit bulls and I'm big on advocating for them. I don't care about their supossed "bad rap" they ARE good dogs and I LOVE them. So I was asked by one of my groups to take the challenge of sharing this video of pit bulls being "adora-bull" I hope you enjoy it and take the time to share it as well.

Care-a-lot baby afghan

Here is the almost done care-a-lot afghan made for my friend who's having a baby girl. This amazingly was my first attempt at a crochet pattern that used a graph. All that is left is embroidered outlines and a edging. Might put a backing on it... not sure yet we will see :)

It's Finally Done!

So as the title states I'm finally done with this baby blanket! I was hoping that it would be bigger but it took so long to do each square (3-5 hours) that by the time I got to 6 squares I was beyond being done! As I was finishing this we got news that my brother in law was having a another girl and I decided that instead of selling this (after news of the baby it was intended for was miscarried) I would pass it to another baby that could enjoy it. I still have to block it as a few of the squares were stretched thanks to a little girl of mine lol. And as for the friend that has lost her baby she's getting married at the end of April and I'll be sending her and her man a afghan to snuggle under and hopefully it will cheer them up :)

Luis's Army Afghan DONE

So the jacob's ladder army afghan is done and Luis has it on his bunk in Korea. He loves it so I'm happy :) He had alot of people comment on it so I'm thinking about making some more and send them that way but first I need to come in to some money! lol but any who here it is enjoy.

New Project: A Rainbow for Mom

Okay so here is the rainbow for my mom... a queen sized dc afghan. and it is kicking my ass to say the least. I'm maybe a fourth of the way done and found out that they stopped making the green so I had to find a color close to it :/ oh well. I want it done my her birthday in June but I'm starting to think its not going to happen lol. Each colored section is 2 rows and each row takes about 10 mins to do. I've been super busy lately with Zoie's therapy and meltdowns that I don't get a lot of time to work on it so I maybe get 2 colors done a day if I'm luck. Wish me speed and luck!
